Echovane Raises $1M to Turn AI Market Research Into an End-to-End Service

New York-based Echovane is building an AI-led market research service designed to take companies from an initial business question to completed consumer insight. Instead of leaving research teams to coordinate separate tools for recruitment, interviews, observations and analysis, the startup is trying to bring more of that work into a single research process.

Echovane has raised $1 million, led by Titan Capital and Neon Fund, to expand that model. The capital will support go-to-market growth, product development, deeper agent infrastructure, multimodal capabilities, and a stronger global participant network as the company broadens the types of research its platform can handle.

The company was founded by Smriti Gupta, Vipul Nair and Himadri Roy, whose backgrounds include work involving market research at Amazon, Stripe, Gojek and Razorpay. Their original idea was considerably narrower: use AI to automate interviews traditionally conducted by human researchers. Conversations with prospective customers soon showed that faster interviewing solved only part of the problem.

The interview was one step. Customers wanted more of the research job completed.

That feedback pushed Echovane toward what it calls a “done-for-you” research model. Rather than selling another point solution, the company aims to manage more of the journey from participant recruitment and questioning through to observation, analysis and final research output. The distinction is important because the value increasingly comes from reducing coordination between tools and teams, rather than simply accelerating one research task.

Echovane says its AI agents have already completed more than 50,000 interviews, asked 3 million questions and carried out 5,000 observational studies. The company names Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Haleon, Kantar and Trustly among organizations working with its platform. These activity figures are company-reported and have not been independently audited.

The challenge now is differentiation. As more AI products automate individual pieces of market research, another specialized feature becomes easier to replicate. Echovane is taking a broader route by trying to own more of the workflow and deliver the research outcome itself.

That leaves the company with a straightforward commercial test: whether businesses ultimately want better research software or fewer research processes to manage. Echovane is building for a market where getting to a reliable answer may matter more than owning the tools used to reach it.
